An early morning walkabout with some 40 species, including: nightingale, blackcap, chaffinch, dunnock, wren, swallow, willow warbler, garden, sedge and reed warblers, chiffchaff, redstart, little and common terns, marsh harrier, bearded tit, grey plover, gadwall, shelduck, bittern, cuckoo, pheasant, avocet, whitethroat, lesser whitethroat, oystercatcher and lapwing.
