Birdsong of Welsh Oak Woodlands & Marsh SN 883
A mid-May visit to two Welsh RSPB reserves – Dinas, near Llandovery, to join up with Tony Pickup, and Ynyshir, near Machynlleth, to meet Dick Squires – to hear about a total of 43 species with 56 different songs and calls. Among them are: pied flycatcher, wood, garden, reed, sedge willow and grasshopper warblers, raven, buzzard, peregrine, red kite, redstart, heron, teal, grey wagtail, nuthatch, whitethroat, shelduck and lapwing.
